For Monolink – the Berlin-based musician and live act who merges electronic club culture with singer-songwriter depth – we had the pleasure of shaping the full visual identity for a particularly multi-layered release. The design reflects the artist’s unique sound: atmospheric, thoughtful, melodic – with depth and space.
At the heart of the project was the artwork for both CD and vinyl, including a detailed gatefold layout, printed inner sleeves, labels, a download card, and custom typography. Every visual layer was carefully aligned with the musical concept – from tactile experience to digital appearance.
We explored multiple visual directions in parallel – as open design sketches offering different perspectives on the album’s core idea. This approach allowed for a flexible visual system that evolved in close collaboration with the artist.
Alongside the album visuals, we created a series of single covers – including acoustic and remix versions – each with its own visual identity that remained anchored in the album’s overall design. We also developed social media assets, tour posters, and merchandise such as slipmats and t-shirts. The existing logo was refined and modernized, and seamlessly integrated into a redesigned web presence.
The result is a cohesive visual language that not only interprets the music, but also expresses Monolink’s artistic intent and aesthetic precision.
