With his fourth studio album „Zu viel Retro“, JORIS explores the full emotional range of life – between reflection and release, clarity and chaos, pain and beauty. We had the opportunity to design the complete visual identity for this bold and intimate record.

At the heart of the project is the album cover design, translating the raw, live-recorded sound of the album into a visual language – honest, textured, and full of energy. The design was rolled out across formats, including clear and yellow vinyl editions, a CD Digipack, and a detailed 8- and 24-page booklet that visually extends the themes of the music.

We also created a range of accompanying materials:
Poster series, billboards , social media assets, event headers, autograph cards, and festival wristbands – all aligned with the album’s visual tone.

Developed in close collaboration with the artist, label, and production team, the design supports and amplifies the emotional depth of the music – giving the album the visual space it deserves.
